Question 1

How much does a film cost?

Accepted Answer

Edit-only projects start at €2,400, a one-day shoot with edit and grade at €8,500, and full productions at €18,000. We send a fixed quote after the first call, and it only changes if the brief does.

Question 2

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Six weeks from brief to delivery for most brand films, three to four for music videos. Documentaries take as long as the story needs; we agree the calendar before we start.

Question 3

Who owns the film?

Accepted Answer

You do. You get worldwide, perpetual usage rights to the final film on every channel. We keep the right to show it in our reel and on this site, unless you ask us not to.

Question 4

Do you shoot outside Portugal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. About a third of our shoots are in Spain, France and northern Europe. Travel and per diems are listed separately in the quote.

Question 5

Can you edit footage we already have?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send a sample and a list of cameras, and we’ll tell you within two days what it will take to edit, match and grade it.

Question 6

Are social cutdowns included?

Accepted Answer

On brand films, yes: 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 versions of the master, plus 15 s and 6 s edits if the brief needs them.

Question 7

We’re a small band. Can you work with our budget?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Tell us the number up front and we’ll tell you honestly what it buys, including when it would be better spent elsewhere.

Question 8

How many rounds of changes do we get?

Accepted Answer

Two rounds on the edit and one on the grade and mix. Extra rounds are billed by the half day, and we warn you before one starts.

Question 9

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

40% to book the dates, 40% after the shoot and 20% on delivery. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance.

Question 10

Do you license the music?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We clear library tracks for your channels or commission an original score, and the licence is in your name.

Question 11

Do we get the raw footage?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on a drive you keep, for a flat handling fee. We archive the project for two years in case you need a new version.

Question 12

Which formats do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

ProRes and H.264 masters as standard, plus DCP, broadcast specs or platform specs when needed. Subtitles as burned-in and sidecar files.
