A public platform with an administrative panel for reporting and searching for missing persons: case files, search, an interactive map, alert issuing, categorisation and a centralised register.
Searching for missing people relied on scattered distribution — social media, paper — with no central register and no geolocation. What was needed was a single, public, moderated channel allowing cases to be reported, searched and followed with traceability.
I built an Angular + Firebase SPA/PWA with a report form, search, an interactive case map and alert issuing, plus a moderation panel with a dashboard and heat map for the authorities.
