Empresa Metalúrgica Vinto is the Bolivian state's tin smelter. Its administrative, financial and operational processes were run on scattered tools, Excel spreadsheets and disconnected systems. They needed a central system that unified everything and was built around their actual processes.
We built Zyrax from scratch as an ERP fully adapted to the company's real processes. It is not generic software that was "adapted": each module was designed by listening to the teams who would use it every day. Over 3 years of continuous development the system has grown to more than 12 modules covering everything from administrative and financial management to plant operations control. It all works in real time and is available from any device.
Vinto is not a startup. It is a state-owned company with decades of operation, complex processes and teams used to working a certain way. We could not arrive with generic software and ask them to change their processes; we had to understand their operation and build something that adapted to them.
The system also had to be robust, secure and capable of handling sensitive data belonging to a Bolivian government company.
After 3 years of continuous work, Zyrax is Empresa Metalúrgica Vinto's core system. Teams work on one platform, with real-time data and without depending on scattered files or informal communication between departments.
The system keeps growing. Each new module is built on the same foundation, which allows capabilities to expand without losing coherence or starting over.
