How many national holidays does Bolivia have in 2026?

In Bolivia holidays are not moved by default; the day off is the exact date of the holiday. Only the government can decree specific exceptions.
Do departmental holidays apply across the whole country?
No: only within their department. For example, February 10 is a holiday in Oruro and September 24 in Santa Cruz.

Yes, they depend on the date of Easter. In 2026 Carnival is February 16 and 17, and Corpus Christi is June 4.
