About

We make one app, for one part of the day.

Lull started in 2022 with a question: why do sleep apps only show up after the night is over?

Our story

We started with the alarm and ended up at the lamp.

Jonas built alarm clocks. Hanne studied sleep. They shared the same frustration: every tool looked at the end of the night, when there’s nothing left to do.

Today we’re fourteen people between Copenhagen and Valencia. Lull has no ads and sells no data; it’s funded by the people who pay for Plus. That lets us say no to features that would cost you sleep.

Three rules.

01

Before, not after

We put our effort into the hour before bed, because that’s the part you can still change.

02

Nothing leaves the phone

Sleep sounds are analysed on the device. We couldn’t listen if we wanted to.

03

No guilt

No streaks, no red badges, no grades. A bad night is information, not a failure.

The people behind it.

Four of the fourteen. All of them use Lull every night, and yes, they have bad nights too.

Candles and a folded blanket on an autumn window sill
A cup of tea held over an open book
Morning light through blinds striping a bed
An unmade bed in the morning light
