The calculation includes the start date and excludes the end date, just like counting the nights between two dates. The order does not matter: you can enter either date first.

Frequently asked questions
Does it count the end date?
It calculates the difference between the two dates: from the 1st to the 5th of a month there are 4 days. If you need to count both ends (inclusive days), add 1 to the result.
What does "months + days" mean?
They are full calendar months plus the leftover days. For example, from January 15 to March 20 there are 2 months and 5 days.
Does the order of the dates matter?
No: if you enter the later date first, the tool swaps them and gives you the difference all the same.
