Letting people who send money home see what arrives before they pay

Highlights

  1. 01What arrives, visible before you pay
  2. 02Step-by-step transfer tracking

The project

Fluxo is a mobile app concept we designed at Bemorex for sending money from Spain to Bolivia. It isn't a live product: it's a complete product design exercise, done with the same rigor we bring to client work.

The Challenge

Sending €200 home costs about €13 on average. Part is the fee you can see; the rest hides in the exchange rate. And once they've paid, senders have no idea where the money is. The brief: someone who sends money every month from their phone, usually at night, should be done in under a minute, with no doubts.

What we designed

A send flow where everything that costs money sits next to the amount before you continue, plus step-by-step tracking all the way to the recipient's wallet. Beyond the main screen, we designed the states few case studies show: sign-up, ID verification, errors, empty screens and dark mode.

  1. What the family receives is shown as large as what is sent
  2. Exchange rate locked for 15 minutes; if it expires, nothing is charged
  3. Flat fee, arrival time and total in a single block
  4. Time-stamped tracking and a notification to both people
  5. Custom design system and dark mode
  6. 11 screens in Spanish and English
