ComandaRail
A rail of kitchen tickets driven by the restaurant's clock: live tickets with running timers during service, the prep list in the morning and the lamps off when the kitchen is closed.
The idea
The site is the pass of a kitchen: a steel rail of thermal tickets under heat lamps. ComandaRail reads the restaurant's time zone and shows what the kitchen is doing right now: at the market, mise en place, in service or closed.
Signature moments

During service a new ticket hangs on the rail every 24 seconds, and its timer turns red after 15 minutes.

The menu comes out of a printer as a thermal ticket, with a different menu for each season.

Mark the 14 EU allergens and the dishes you cannot order are crossed out with an 86.
